Benissa
Where is Benissa? Benissa is near Moraira and cover quite a large area. Some properties have sea views others are slightly inland. Most properties are only 10 minutes to the beaches of Moraira.
How to get to Benissa?
By car from Alicante and Valencia airports take the AP7 and exit junction 60 and follow the N332.
Alicante has a tram station and this stops at Benissa, so easy access if you do not drive.
Bus services are also available. Please look at Beniconnect and Alsa the two main services for this region.
Marinas
The two nearest impressive marinas are Moraira and Altea. There are an abundance of restaurants around these two marinas and well worth a visit even if you do not have a yacht.
Schools in Benissa
There are various schools but these are the two we know about Manuel Bru infants and junior school and the secondary school is the institute Josep Iborra.
International School is Lady Elisabeth.
Shops
Supermarkets, chemists, banks, bars, restaurants, bakers, butchers, hairdressers and much more. If you prefer to go to shopping centre, then Ondara has an indoor air conditioned shopping mall or a short drive to Benidorm. As Benissa is self-sufficient then you will find most things local without having to drive to other towns.
Beaches
The majority of properties are only a few minutes’ drive to beaches all of which are blue flag and have a variety of water sports including, scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skiing, sailing, kayaking and much more. Or if you prefer a relaxing time to just soak up the sunshine then there are plenty of places to enjoy a relaxing time.
Benissa has its own 4km of beaches with beautiful golden sand and blue sea.
Town of Benissa
This is a typically Spanish town with churches, town houses and beautiful countryside and well-kept urbanisations, very clean and most home owners are proud of where they live.
Social Groups
There are a range of social groups depending on what activities you enjoy. Groups for walking, cycling, quiz nights, bowls, horse riding centres these are just a few but there are many more.
Activities
Golf the nearest golf course is Ifach Golf Club well it is more than just a golf club it is a family club with tennis, 9 holes, 18 holes and you can buy shares and go for a relaxing swim after.
There are various golf courses in the region, Javea, La Sella near Denia, Oliva Nova, Calpe and many more up and down the coastline.
Go Karting is a great day out for the family, children and grandchildren.
Waterparks Benidorm has a huge water park with incredible water slides and vertical slides. Various friends have been with the family of all ages and they put this on the agenda once or twice a year.
Equestrian Centres various horse riding centres are around Benissa, Calpe, Altea and Moraira. Different stables offer different facilities, jumping, hacks, dressage and for all abilities.
