Jesus Pobre is a very desired location; it is situated between Denia and Javea with stunning mountain views. Montgo is the local national park and has some wonderful walking routes. One of my favourites is from the Jesus Pobre side of the mountain. Within Jesus Pobre there are other walking routes, Molins de Vent has some beautiful views of the coastline. Views up the coast to Gandia and Valencia and down the coast to Javea and Cumbre del Sol. Various other walking routes are signposted Camino del Alba. This route will eventually take you to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. Look for the shell sign. La Sella Golf is just a few kilometres away which has 3, 9 hole courses, various restaurants including the Marriott Hotel which offer a champagne breakfast. Denia beaches are just a few minutes drive away and so is Historical Javea. With plenty to do and see in the local area this makes this town a great place to buy and live all year or for holidays.
